Remembering My First Spirit Contact/ Communication

A dark cold night in mid October 1980 would change my life forever… It was Thanksgiving. Family were seated around the table eating the turkey dinner that mom had slaved over all day… Right in the middle of the meal, we got the call that I was dreading… It was the hospital calling to tell us that we needed to come see grandpa as soon as possible as they did not think he would last the night…

I remember just staring at my food… I was numb, in shock and emotions were surging that I could not express… Then I remember demanding to be allowed to go to the hospital to see grandpa… Mom was against it, dad said nothing, but I insisted… As I recall it was the longest cab ride in my life… Dad had been drinking wine with supper. He could not drive so we went in a cab to the hospital…

I remember being so quiet in the cab and still quiet as we rode the elevator to grandpa’s floor and walked into room. When we entered grandpa was quiet and had a glow about him, as I have never seen with anyone before or since that time. When he realized we were there, he began to talk about seeing all the relatives “in the big house”. Dad and I did not know what to make of it because grandpa was talking about people who had passed away 30 or 40 years earlier!

As I watched this strong man who was now so fragile laying on the bed, I began to see white smoke like substance surround his body starting at his head and moving down his body until it was a 3 inch layer just above him but still attached at the head. I had no idea what I was seeing then, but he was peaceful so I knew that it was not a bad thing that was happening. (Now I know this is the spirit body, but at the time I was only 11 and did not know anything about spirit.)

As I continued to watch, his glow intensified until I could no longer look directly at him on the bed… I just stood there dumbfounded and reached out to touch him… When I did that, I could feel the mist around him. It was warm and tingled at my touch…. Strange but even then, I was not afraid. The feeling was comforting and familiar… It felt like grandpa’s touch-- it kept me calm… the whole time we were in the room. As I watched, the spirit body float in and out of grandpa’s body I noticed that the only place where it did not fully leave the physical body was the head. This fluctuation lasted the whole time we were in the room.

I remember dad being very quiet and I could see tears building. It was the first time I recall seeing my father cry. I think it was this that was more upsetting than seeing grandpa in the state he was in. I did wonder for years after though if grandpa felt any pain once out of the body. He was dying of cancer of the bladder and was on morphine to numb the physical pain of the disease than had ravaged his now frail body.

When it was time to leave, I recall that I did not want to go. I just knew that this was the last time I would have with my grandfather. It took everything I had to walk out of that room and make my way to the elevator. As I stood in the door way, I looked back and saw that grandpa had fallen into a peaceful sleep and that he was smiling.

That night, around 3 am in the morning I woke from a sound sleep and saw grandpa at the foot of my bed… He now appeared to be strong and smiling, but he had come to say goodbye. It was time for him to go. And, he wanted me to know that he was ready to go to spirit. As much as I did not want him to leave, the message also gave me an incredible sense of calm that I carried with me for many months after his death.

Later that morning, I remember being outside walking and looking at the orange, yellow, and read leaves of the autumn trees…I was numb and I could not imagine my life with grandpa gone. He was my friend, my confidant, and my role model. Little did I know that his passing would be only the beginning of my spiritual adventure!

Thank you grandpa for helping me open the door to spirit communication that is so much a part of my life as a Spiritualist medium and healer!

Removal of Spells and other Scams!

The other night I was woken by a phone call at 1 am in the morning. Jumping out of bed, I picked up the phone to discover that it was a potential client who was seeking a reading. Now because I list my professional work address on my web sites folks just assume that they are calling the church when they call but to make things easier I have the calls come to my home so I can book appointments.

Anyway like I said I was woken by a long distance ring on the telephone. After my initial panic I decided to pick up the phone and have to say that it was one of the most interesting conversations I have had with a complete stranger in a long time! Now that does not mean that I want to encourage late night phone calls… not at all, but something important did come from the questions the caller had which motivates me even more to keep this blog up to date.

As I said before, I want to use this blog to help seekers find the right psychic for them and allow others to learn from my 12 years of experience working in the psychic industry.

Now back to the call that came in on Thursday night. The caller was asking me it if were possible for a psychic to remove evil spells from a person. Being in a half dead sleep I thought she was kidding until I realized that she was telling me that another psychic told the caller that she had an evil spell on her and that it would cost her $600.00USD to have it removed by the psychic! Now this kind of nonsense on the behalf of psychic workers is a big problem in the industry. Some folks think that it is ok and their right to fleece an uneducated and trusting public but that is not the case! This kind of gouging just makes all psychics look bad as the public gets wind of these horrible stories of such practices and then thinks that all folks who work as psychics are con artists. That said I am glad that the caller asked the question!

What to do if the same thing happens to you:

If any one working as a psychic tells you they can remove evil spells for a cost get away from them as fast as you can what they are doing is illegal and can get them put out of business if reported.

Now dealing with online readers it is hard to know who they really are but there are ways to find out. If you have an email address for them you can report them to their internet service provider. Fraud is fraud and most ISPs will discontinue the fraudster’s Internet service. If the psychic in question works for a particular psychic reading website you can report them to the operators of the site. Also you may want to report the incident to the internet fraud department of your local police force.

In the case of the situation where one is going to a face to face reading appointment be aware of your location and keep the contact information and report any questionable episodes to the local police. The chances that a psychic you are dealing with in an in person appointment would try such tactics is somewhat less because most psychics who work in the community face to face with clients do know the laws of their province/state and city. Most do not want to risk their reputations and legal problems but all the same you the buyer needs to be aware and proactive.

Hello there! Thanks for stopping and checking out my site! Lately I have not been posting much in the way of new writing these days but that is because I have been very busy trying to establish myself after making a career change! The last year or so has been a real challenge to say the least. Having moved from Brantford to Toronto over three years ago I was still finding that I was not settled and struggling to find a regular job! That being the case, I went through a bad spell of depression and could not focus on my writing.

It was time for a change but how to make that change was the issue! Well about a year ago I decided to take my spiritual interests and psychic abilities from a strictly volunteer situation and branch out into the New Age, Psychic/Mediumistc industry. Now to make such a decision was difficult enough, but with no money to work with and large debts the issue became how to make that happen. To make a long story short I have been building websites and working to establish them on the web so that folks could find me and seek out psychic readings for themselves or within groups.

I had no idea what I was in for regarding the technology but it has been an interesting experience for the most part. Now I am getting ready to get down to business and actually am starting to connect with customers all over the world! Also nice is the fact that I am finally feeling settled in my community and can say that my online work has helped me to connect with a vast array of people and through each individual I meet I discover more and more what folks need to know when it comes to finding the right psychic for them and what makes for a good psychic reading. The focus of this blog will be to share my experiences as a Medium and help folks to learn more about Spiritualism as a religion, philosophy and science. While I have chosen this path for my spiritual journey, I by no means feel that I know everything or that my way is the only way to connect one’s psychic nature to that which is spiritual and divine. That said I hope that folks who read this blog enjoy it and feel welcomed to respond to what they read in an honest and respectful manner.
